Back in the summer of 2013, The Youth journeyed to Italy to play a concert at a festival.  After the performance, in the course of a fun night out – which naturally included pints of beer galore, drummerboy Sune, inspired by the magic of the Italian art of brewing, rationally chose to go sightseeing around the festival site, stacked and packed with beverages in both hands.

While on this adventurous walk he acquainted himself with a good many beautiful people. However, as everyone knows, one becomes tired from much walking around, so he decided to have a quick rest. So, suddenly in desperate need of a place to take a nap he happened upon a beautiful old 1970 Moto Guzzi Ambassador V7 750cc motorcycle, and thought what all drummers would naturally think; that it was an ideal place to sleep, so he leaned himself up against it and closed his eyes.

After a while he was woken up by a Spanish speaking gentleman and, as Sune roused from his slumber, an almost blindingly bright beam of light shone into his eyes, revealing the silhouette of man of true character.

When he came to his senses he discovered that it was no ordinary Spaniard who had awoken him; it was no other than the King of Asturias – Jorge Muñoz-Cobo Gonzalez. This savior in royal form had been sent on a mission to assist Sune, and indeed the rest of The Youth.

The two of them began conversing and, with growing mutual admiration and understanding, came to the conclusion that the only way to deal with the situation of a genuine king and a humble Dane meeting was to seek refreshments and discuss Sune's burning desire to make a record and so they did !

As it happened, on the very next day after this odd, but yet enchanting occurrence, The Youth were gathered at a pool party – and, by coincidence or design, the esteemed King Jorge showed up at the same party and introduced himself to the boys; but dear Sune could not remember anything of the previous night's encounter – perhaps it was the out-of-this-world experience, or perhaps it was just the fact that Sune's memory is often equal to that of a monkey’s.

However, as in every true fairytale, this one has a happy ending - King Jorge invited The Youth to Gijón, his royal residence in the Kingdom of Asturias where, with his esteemed guidance, they recorded their debut album in the great and notorious Estudios Circo Perrotti the very album you have in your hands right now !

And so, there is only one thing left to say:  his highness King Jorge regally commands you to purchase this record!
