Featuring members of The Cavemen, Lovers Club, Slugga (Atlanta) and The Speedways, Dead Meat are a dose of smoking ban friendly stupid, shitty punk formed from the dropping of a one (two?) off cover band, The KBDS. Bloodstains over North London. Dead Meat sounds like hundred of other bands and aren’t as good as 60% of them, there’s a fine line between brilliance and stupidity and Dead Meat are constantly crossing it.
Playground Circus is a (London based) punk-rock act, originating from the cultural fertile grounds of crisis-ridden Greece. Formed in 2014, they deliver a dynamic mixture of hard boiled energetic rock and roll, dried out in the hot California punk-rock sun and wrapped in 90’s MTV mentality. They self-released their 5-track debut EP the same year, entitled “The King is Born” and took to the stages of Europe to spread their music.
Having immediately caught the attention of the Los Angeles music scene, they were invited to host their own monthly residency at the World Famous Whisky a Go Go during the March of 2015. While beingon US soil the band continued to tour around California playing historic venues like the Dollhut and Harold’s.
Right after their return to Greece they continued to play shows constantly for the next three months. That’s when they started getting some attention from the national media. On October 2015 their song “Pimps and Hypocrites” made the top 10 of 1055Rock, one of the biggest radio stations in Greece and stayed there for 5 weeks.
After relocating to UK they released a couple of singles while constantly performing at the most popular venues of London (Barfly, The Garage, Black heart etc), promoting their name and preparing the grounds for a bombastic full length release. With new lineup and a handful of great songs Playground Circus are ready to conquer the world.
The Angles were born in 2011 as a power trio; the band includes Marco Galimberti (drums), Michele Contrino (guitar and vocals) and Marco Consonni (bass). In the same year the band published an EP containing five tracks, a mix of punk rock and alternative rock. In 2013, after various musical experiments, the group began working on the new album. This is how "Superturbodance" was born: a disc of 11 tracks oriented towards the Indie Rock genre. After recording the record, the trio adds Maurizio Incagliato, who joins the group as a solo guitar.
