These Melbourne natives have a sound that’s a blend of garage rock’n’roll from various parts of the globe. Their debut (Australian) release, "This Is Your Lung", showers you with a wall of howling vocals, thick, mud-drenched guitars and pounding rhythms. They teeter on the brink, like the sensation you get when you almost lose control of your car, just to recover in the nick of time. The Kits push the limits set by their predecessors - which include the likes of The Saints, The Von Bondies, The Hells and International (Noise) Conspiracy. Their music is as much inspired by the sounds of Detroit, Sweden, New York and other centres of rock’n’roll decadence as by the Melbourne scene. After sharing stages with Wolfmother, The Saints and The Casanovas amongst others, they decided to leave their home for the madness of London from where they’re preparing for an all out assault. Their debut vinyl single, "Don't Want To Lose This Fight", came out on Dirty Water Records earlier this year. Their debut album (on vinyl and CD), "Primitive Tales", is in the shops now.
