Toe Hammer | See Toe Hammer on Myspace
This two guitar no bass trio has a railroad blues foundation topped with heavy riffs and the second guitar grinding its way through a bass amp. Toe Hammer have retained that invigorating zeal of the 17-year-old hearing his first Stooges record, with their blasts of rockin’ guitar’n’drums, peppered with unfamiliar noises and familiar emotions, familiar to anyone who’s been wronged by someone they loved, worked in grim jobs, to anyone who has a conscience.

Electric Red Drive | See The Electric Red Drive on Myspace
These guys cite their greatest influences as being an epileptic Chuck Berry and their bad English teacher. It's speedy and energetic garage rock with a definite 1960s vibe, but with quirky, edgy guitar riffs being a speciality. This is real party rock'n'roll with a tinge of post-punk playfulness, and the not so distant smells of Iggy and The Stooges cooking up a naughty blend with The Mooney Suzuki.
